Open ended invisible zips

Open ended invisible zips

Open ended invisible zips are not like the normal invisible zip, because it is very hard to sew close to the teeth.  These zips are usually put into tops that need to be opened completely.

You could use an open ended invisible zip if you wanted to get some extra room out of a top that became too tight.  Dress zips have a folded section on one side which uses more fabric than invisible zips.

By converting to an open ended invisible zip, or normal invisible zip you will use less fabric, therefore get some more room out of the garment.
