Fix broken bulb sewing machine

Have you ever had a light bulb explode?  And when it does how do you get the bayonet section out of the machine?  This happened to me and I thought, why not video it and show how I fix broken bulb sewing machine.

Not all machines are the same, and this short video is based on fixing my Janome sewing machine.  The usual step is to pack up the machine, lug it to the car and drive down to the local sewing machine repair person.  And if they are busy it could take days or weeks until you get your machine back.

Please please remember that before you do anything, you MUST switch the machine off and UNPLUG the electrical cord.  DO NOT ever work on this with the power still connected to the machine.  That is a disaster waiting to happen.
