What to do when a dress is tight at waist.  I made this long dress quite some time ago, and when I made it the dress was tight.  I have lost a bit of weight but not enough to fit the problem.  So I dragged it out of my wardrobe and pondering what to do with it.  Should I throw it away or find a solution.

I didn't have any more fabric, and I really didn't think it would suit having panels down the side.  So as I was standing in front of the mirror pondering what to do with this dress that was tight at the waist, I thought, "What if I take it up from under the bust?"  And that is what I did.
