Have you ever wanted to replace leather tag on purse zip. They are easy to replace. I did it recently for my mum's purse. She has arthritis in her fingers, and whilst I had replaced one, the opposite side became frayed and looked like it was going to fall off.
Because I do clothes alterations as a living, and do lots of repairs, whenever something comes in like leather pieces, zips, D rings or pretty much anything I think I might have a use for one day, I store it in large plastic containers in my garager. Each container is marked with what is inside. Such as leather, ribbons, ribbing and so on. You just never know when you might need something.
