One of the areas you will find business is through Google. They have a range of options, and the best one in my opinion is Google Maps. You can put your business on there if you work from home, however you will not be able to put your home address.
Recently my clothing alterations business was taken off because I had my home address and it looked (from their point of view) that I was a website business only, plus I did not have a store front like a normal commercial business.
After many emails back and forth, I eventually was able to maintain the website information, but I took the home address of. This meant I was known as a "Service Business". My service area is Runaway Bay, and my phone number is there, which means people can call and get the address.
This is a great way to promote your business if you work from home. If you run into any difficulties, just contact Google via email and they will help you. You will have to be patient as they are very busy, but it is well worth it. They are a great organisation and are all about helping people and that resonates well with me.
