This is a very quick video tip pinning gown floor length, without folding any fabric under. It does depend on the fabric. I would not use this method for chiffon as the pins would fall out before I got to marking and cutting. And this hem was just cut. No over locking or stitching. Happy altering Judith
A common problem for a lot of people. Obviously where to make it bigger will depend on the style. But this one was easy because I could add wide elastic to the back. You don't need much elastic, and if you don't have any that is the right width, join some together by butting them up against each other and zig zagging together. Happy altering Judith
This is a remodel video. I have a few clients who love to wear a dress that no one else will have. So what they do is purchase two of the same dress and I use one to cut up and remodel the main dress. I love doing these type of remodels. Such fun Happy altering Judith
This jacket has suede front and back panels, but ribbed knitted sleeves. I had to shorten cardigan jacket sleeves even though the sleeve was knitted. I do have some videos of cardigans being shortened, and this is no different, except that I used a wider and firmer stretch lace. Need to know more?
