Baggy Trousers - bank panel only is usually excess fabric at the back pane.  This ban be fixed by moving the back panel across, but before doing that, pin the back panel only on one leg.

  1. Start where the excess is least (usually the hip area) and place a pin through the back panel and into the outside seam.
  2. Place the second pin a few inches under that taking more fabric from the back panel.
  3. Place a third pin under the second taking the excess fabric from the back panel.
  4. Continue until all the excess fabric has been pinned

Once pinned, transpose the measurements to paper starting at the top and working down.  I measure every 5 cm or 2 in, taking a reference point like the top or bottom of the band.  Once all the measurements have been taken, unpick the outside seam and place dots on the right side of the fabric, and move the front panel onto these dots. Sew with the front panel on top sewing through the original stitch line.

Happy altering
