Hi Judith, Your book arrived in the mail today. Nice piece of work! I really appreciate the detailed and very clearly defined pictures to accompany written directions. I'm anxious to get into it and learn all I can. I can do basic alterations, as I've learned myself, and I have mastered the art of replacing zippers in jeans (my way), but there is so much more to learn. I reduced a shirt from XL to L for my husband, so I guess there's hope for me!. The Jean Genie looks like a very unique invention and I'll be watching the DVD tonight. Hi Judith, I received my book today (May 13th). I was so excited I walked 3 miles to pick it up. I own a small sewing business in which I have done custom drapery, roman blinds etc., as well as teach sewing lessons.
