This book took nine (9) years to write Clothing Alteration Secrets Revealed and now I am on the 3rd edition.  Clothing alterations is a great industry to be in.  I charge a generous AUD$15 to hem jeans and trousers, however a clothing alteration shop not far from me charges AUD$35.  I totally understand why she would charge that because she has rent, staff, insurance and all the other costs associated with running a business.  But clothing alterations can also be done from home.  It is considered a "hobby" by some.
