This is a quick video on how to resolve the issue of takein sides tee shirt with binding.  When the binding is doubled, it becomes bulky and thick.  Most sewing machines will not like sewing up to or starting at this type of thickness.  The foot of the machine will tilt.  And in most cases you will break needles.

This is an easy trick to use.  I used my Jean Genie, but if you have something similar to raise the foot of the machine to the same level as the thickness of the binding it will work just as well.
