This is one of the more exciting creative things I have done.  How to cover shoes with fabric is a fun video which should inspire you to search your wardrobe for those shoes that you just can't throw out because they are too comfortable, but they really need a shake up.  Even if the toes are worn, sole is worn low, or the heels need redoing.  Cover them with fabric and spend a little extra on the sole and heels and you have a new pair of shoes that you will just love love love.....

It is a bit of a messy business, but the results are fantastic.  I practiced on a pair of very old shoes destined for the rubbish bin.  Then I covered a cheap pair I had bought from an Op Shop for $4.00.  The result was outstanding.
