Embellish tee shirt with bling
How many tees do you have that are plain like this one and need a lift?
I love to frequent Op shops (second hand shops) and on one of my visits I found this necklace for $2.00.
The orange tee came to mind when I saw the bling, so I bought it. It had the standard catch at the back plus a small chain which I took off.
I roughly hand stitched it around the neckline and tried it on. I found it was too tight, so unpicked the loose hand stitching and re stitched giving a bit more stretch in the neck.
Once it goes over the head and stretches to the body, it sits perfectly, but when off it looks like the fabric is loose.
The bling stops at the shoulder seams on either side. It took all of 30 minutes (if that) to fiddle with it and hand stitch on.
