True story of a bride who called two days before the wedding with a hole in the lace of her gown. Not a lot of time, but I did the darn hole tulle lace wedding gown for her, and she was happy that it was not going to get any bigger.
I used a sock sleeve to repair the hole. It makes it easier to see what is happening with the tulle/lace. In hindsight I could have made the stitches a little looser. That might have made it less visible. I used a standard thread for the repair. Always try to match the color as best as possible
Happy altering
