This is another short sped up video on how to convert dress to top example.  I did this for a client who wanted a dress converted into a top because it was becoming to tight in the thigh area.

But it was not just a simple cut and sew.  The armholes were gaping, and it had binding on the armhole.  Folding this over and stitching can be bulky, so see how I got around that issue.  Plus because of her body shape the back needed to be longer than the front creating a curved hemline.
